Mission-aligned communications & capacity-building with Marna Fujimoto-Pihl

Hi, I'm Marna ~ a mission-driven communications professional, capacity-builder, and transformational coach. I help individuals and organizations connect to their values, strengths, vision, and purpose—and take empowered action toward meaningful contribution.
I founded The Being Place to support heart-led professionals in achieving greater clarity, agency, fulfillment, and impact. My work has included coaching, emotional resilience circles, masterminds, and workshops. I’m also a co-author of Permission Slips for claiming our emotions.
I’m passionate about building momentum for ideas, people, and projects that contribute to a more compassionate, just, fair, and sustainable world.
I’m currently transitioning into nonprofit work. While I’m not offering coaching at this time, I continue to share insights and support personal & professional growth in meaningful ways.
Permission Slips for claiming our emotions
An emotional resilience project by the Courageous Hearts Collective.
Written for those who were never taught how to feel or felt “too much” or “not enough”, this book offers bite-sized reflections, soothing affirmations, and practical stories for developing emotional intelligence.
Whether you're healing childhood wounds, managing emotional burnout, learning to connect with yourself again, or working on boundaries in relationships—this is your companion for the journey.

I have a background in Communications & Marketing, as well as 15+ years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, admin, program support, and capacity-building roles.
I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) who helps people break free of conditioned beliefs and limiting patterns, connect to their true nature, and take action that's aligned with their
values, strengths, vision and purpose.
I'm dedicated to creating compassionate, inclusive spaces where people feel seen, supported, and valued. My additional training supports me in bringing a strengths-based, trauma-aware, and resilience-informed approach to the work that I do.
